The Colombian Informatics Ibero-American Technological Institute (ITI Colombia) is a non profit organization with their training, consulting and advising processes in Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) certified according to the ISO9001:2000 standard by Bureau Veritas for the Colombian Industry and Trade Superintendence, ANSI RAB QMS for the American continent and UKAS Quality Management for the European Union.

ITI Colombia offers a several training programs and continuous education for the development of the professional competences at technical, technological, professional and postgraduate levels that acts in the ICT sector. The program is supported by the Innovation and Development Center for Software Engineering Research (CIDLIS) (ISO9001:2000 Certified Entity, in Software Engineering Research Processes by Bureau Veritas for the Colombian Industry and Trade Superintendence, ANSI RAB QMS for the American continent and UKAS Quality Management in the European Union) and the Electric, Electronic Engineering and Telecommunications School of the Santander Industrial University.

Particularly, in the Software Engineering Area, it has established a Software Engineering Processes Quality Program (SEPQ). SEPQ, besides being designed especially for qualified human resource training and preparing for the best performance and total effectiveness in the Software Industry Projects development, is a preparation strategy for the International Certified Software Development Professional (CSDP) exam. The IEEE Computer Society has granted the membership as CSDP Education Provider to the ITI Colombia Institute.

The SEPQ course can be offer in a full time, part time and a distance modalities, in our own facilities or directly in to the companies work place by their request. SEPQ use the Active Learning methodology (hypothetical-deductive Thinking sustained in projects about the Science, the Society, the Technology and the Environment) through the e-learning Knowledge Technological platform (e-GnoTech).
 

ITI Colombia ofrece un programa de capacitación y educación continuada para el desarrollo de competencias profesionales de técnicos, tecnólogos, profesionales y postgraduados, que se desempeñen en el sector de las TIC. El programa está apoyado por el Centro de Innovación y Desarrollo para la Investigación en Ingeniería del Software (CIDLIS) (Entidad certificada ISO9001:2000, en procesos de investigación en Ingeniería del Software, por Bureau Veritas ante la Superintendencia de Industria y Comercio de Colombia, ANSI RAB QMS para el continente americano y UKAS Quality Management en la Unión Europea ) y la Escuela de Ingeniería Eléctrica, Electrónica y Telecomunicaciones de la Universidad Industrial de Santander.

Particularmente, en el área de Ingeniería del Software, se tiene establecido un programa de Calidad en Procesos de Ingeniería del Software (CAPIS). CAPIS, además de estar diseñado especialmente para entrenar y preparar recurso humano calificado para su mejor desempeño y total eficacia en el desarrollo de proyectos en la Industria Software, es una estrategia de preparación del examen de Certificación Internacional de profesionales en Desarrollo Software (CSDP) que está avalada por La Sociedad de Computación de la IEEE, quién ha otorgado al ITI Colombia la membresía como proveedor de educación del CSDP.

El curso de CAPIS puede ofrecerse de manera semi-presencial, presencial y a distancia, en nuestras propias instalaciones o directamente en el sitio de trabajo de las empresas que lo soliciten. CAPIS utiliza la metodología de Aprendizaje Activo (Pensamiento hipotético-deductivo sustentado en proyectos, entorno a la Ciencia , la Sociedad , la Tecnología y el Ambiente) a través de la plataforma Tecnológica de Conocimiento e-learning (e-GnoTech).
